A poem on eradicating illiteracy in the style of the Marxist Poet Vladimir Mayakovsky

A poem on eradicating illiteracy in the style of the Marxist Poet Vladimir Mayakovsky.

~

Erase the Darkness

Eradicate illiteracy!

Our words are bullets, Not for violence but for truth. In the factories, fields, and streets, Ignorance is our enemy, Our minds the sharpest tools.

Who are we, comrades? The children of sweat and toil, Born in the shadows of towering machines, Yet we will not bow to the chains of silence.

Rip apart the darkness of the night! Tear ignorance to shreds! Books are our bombs, Each page a spark, Each word a blow against the abyss.

We will march in rows, Not with guns, but with pens, Filling the void with knowledge, Crushing the walls of illiteracy.

From the village hut to the city square, From the young to the old, all will read! No more slaves to the master of ignorance, No more shackled to the ground by invisible chains.

Raise the banners of enlightenment high! The revolution of the mind has begun, And there will be no retreat, no surrender. We will break down the barriers of silence, And in the ashes of the old world, We will write our future.
